About Us
GTM = Gospel Through Music.
So many people around the world do not know Jesus as their personal savior. They have never heard the wonderful message about Jesus Christ who died for our sins; that He provided the ONLY way to God, to rescue whoever believes in Him from death, and give them everlasting life instead.
All across the world, musicians have unique access to areas and arenas
on the mission fields that may only be available to them: places where music
can be the most effective way to reach the hearts and souls of those who are
lost without Christ.
Since 2008, GTM Ministries has partnered with missionaries and ministries in
more than 20 countries on 4 continents. Together we identify needs and
opportunities where music can be a viable tool for sharing the gospel of
Jesus Christ. We then catalyze Music Mission Teams of single artists, bands,
worship teams, ensembles, choirs, and orchestras representing a variety of musical genres to help meet those needs.
The opportunities are great!
Will you GO?
Our Team
Hanne Gallatin
Founder & President
Growing up in Norway, Hanne Gallatin, Founder and President of GTM Ministries come from a family deeply rooted in their Christian faith, with a strong focus on studying the Bible and the ministry of music in the church. She had "known" from an early age that she was to move to the USA when she grew up.
Hanne had been working in full-time Children's ministry in Norway for about 5 years when the urge to move to the USA became too strong for her to resist. With duel Norwegian/US citizenship (her father is originally from the USA), it was a relatively simple process.
So she quit her job, bought a plane ticket, and began to make plans to leave her homeland.

What We Believe
The Bible
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error in both words and ideas and the final authority for our lives. It is God's written revelation to man, and thus the sixty-six books of the Bible given to us by the Holy Spirit constitute the plenary (inspired equally in all parts) Word of God. The Holy Spirit so superintended the human authors that, through their individual personalities and different styles of writing, they composed and recorded God's Word to man.
(2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12, 1 Corinthians 2:7-14)
God
There is one true God, eternally existing in three persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Isaiah 44:6, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Luke 3:21-22)
the fatheR
God the Father is Almighty and the Creator and Lord of heaven and earth.
(Genesis 17:1, Genesis 1:1, Nehemiah 9:6, Deuteronomy 10:17, Isaiah 45:5, Ephesians 4:6)
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was crucified on a cross, died, was buried, and rose again physically from the dead, and will return physically in the future to rule and reign over the earth with justice and righteousness. Jesus is the only way to God. We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through the shedding of His blood and sacrificial death on the cross and that His death was voluntary, vicarious, substitutionary, propitiatory, and redemptive.
(John 10:15; Romans 3:24-25; 5:8; 1 Peter 2:24, John 1:1, Colossians 1:15-17, John 3:16, John 1:14, Philippians 2:6-11, John 14:6)
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, eternal, underived, possessing all the attributes of personality and deity. The Holy Spirit was sent by the Father and the Son into the world and will convict sinners of their need of a Savior. At the moment a person believes in Jesus Christ for eternal life, the Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, baptizes and seals them for the day of redemption. We believe that it is the work of the Holy Spirit to execute the divine will with relation to all mankind.
(1 Corinthians 1:22, Ephesians 1:13-14, John 16:8, Romans 8:11, John 16:13)
Human Beings
Humankind was created in the image of God. He sinned and was separated from a relationship with God. All men are sinful, lost and are in need of the saving grace of God which cannot be merited by good works and cannot be experienced apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ.
(Genesis 1:27, Psalm 51:5, Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, 1 John 1:8-10, John 14:6)
Eternity/Salvation
Eternal life (Salvation) is granted by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ Jesus alone. There will be a future physical resurrection for all who believe in Jesus for eternal life. The Lord, Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to disciple people of every nation. This is God's primary means for accomplishing His mission in the world.
(Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 6:23, Matthew 28:18-20, Revelation 21:4-8, Revelation 22:3-7)
The missionary
We believe that every Christian is called to the Great Commission (Matthew 20:18-20). However, to have a more official role, we believe God has a qualifying standard for conduct. If we are to represent God and His Word to the world, we must represent Him truthfully as He represents Himself and His Word. We also need to represent Him in conduct. We are to seek to live righteously, according to the Bible. Titus 1 and 1.Timothy 3 gives us that standard. And while these passages are given as a requirement for a Christian leader in the church, such as elder or deacon; we believe it ultimately describes the standard of living for any servant of God. The standard for any man and woman on the mission field. This of course does not mean there is a requirement for perfection, but instead for a humble and honest yielding to His will and way. We urge you to read these aforementioned Biblical passages before committing to a music mission trip.
SUMMARY
We hold to the historically traditional and conservative views and values of the church. This is also what we teach on the mission field. On our mission trips, our main focus is on the fundamentals of the Gospel.
