Focus: Concerts in villages
Musical Genre: Gospel (urban) and other. The target group in young people. And they like upbeat and urban gospel.
Team Size: Up till about 30 people. We invite individuals to join our team.
Date: Arrival in Accra on July 6th. (Departure from the USA on July 5th). Return back on July 14th.
Airport: Accra, Ghana (ACC). Then we will take a separate flight to the Tamale region (TML).
Cost: $900 (lodging, food, ground transportation, adm.fees and travel insurance) + visa (approximately $200) + airfare (round-trip Accra, and also round-trip from Accra to Tamale)
Immunisation: Immunisation required.

Trip Summary
Our wonderful Ghana missionary partners live and work in the Tamale region of Ghana. They have a mission camp there, and do outreach in the local villages. We originally connected at a mission conference in the USA in 2019, and they asked us what they needed to do to get a music mission team to their area, because they believe music will be an incredible way to reach the young people there. So we started planning, and so excited about this opportunity to share Christ in Ghana.
We are preparing for our first trip there in the summer of 2021.
They love urban gospel music, so that is the main genre we will focus on, and especially encourage artists/groups within this style of music to consider going on a music mission trip to Ghana with us.
We will meet in Accra, the capital of Ghana, on July 6th and spend one night at a hotel at the airport. We will then travel to Tamale (1 hour flight) on July 7th and spend 6 nights at the mission camp. We will travel back to Accra on July 13th and have some time off and relax (most likely by one of their lovely beaches) before leaving to go home on July 14th.
The mission camp is situated in a rural area. You will get to eat good food and sleep there. Throughout the trip we will go to different villages to do concerts; and have the opportunity to share Christ with many young people.
