Focus: Concerts in villages
Musical Genre: Gospel (urban) and other. The target group in young people. And they like upbeat and urban gospel.

Team Size: Up till about 30 people. We invite individuals to join our team.

Date: Arrival in Accra on July 7th. (Departure from the USA on July 6th). Return back on July 15th.

Airport: Accra, Ghana (ACC). Then we will take a separate flight to the Tamale region (TML).

Cost: $900 (lodging, food, ground transportation, adm.fees and travel insurance) + visa (approximately $200) + airfare (round-trip Accra, and also round-trip from Accra to Tamale)
Immunisation: Immunisation required.

Trip Summary
The wonderful Ghana missionaries Priscilla and King live and work in the Tamale region of Ghana. They have a mission camp there, and do outreach in the local villages. At a mission conference in the USA in September this year, they asked us what they needed to do to get a music mission team to their area, because they believe music will be an incredible way to reach the young people there.

We think this is a great idea, and we are planning for our first trip there in the summer of 2020.
They love urban gospel music, so that is the main genre we will focus on, and especially encourage artists/groups within this style of music to consider going on a music mission trip to Ghana with us.
We will meet in Accra, the capital of Ghana, on July 7th and spend one night at a hotel at the airport. We will then travel to Tamale (1 hour flight) on July 8th and spend 6 nights at Priscilla and King's mission camp. We will travel back to Accra on July 14th and have some time off and relax (most likely by one of their lovely beaches) before leaving to go home on July 15th.
The mission camp is situated in a rural area. You will get to eat good food and sleep there. Throughout the trip we will go to different villages to do concerts; and have the opportunity to share Christ with many young people.
