Trip Summary
If you are looking for a place to take your music group (as well as others that will serve as a ground support team) on a music mission trip, we can customize a trip for you to Belize. Our American partners in Belmopan, Belize has a wonderful basecamp that will offer 3 meals per day, comfortable lodging in beautiful surroundings. You can stay there for most of the trip; and if you are interested in going for some days to a caribbean island or a beach location on the mainland, we will set that up for you.
We at GTM have a special love for Belize, and the people of Belize, and we know what a huge mission field this country is. Our partners there are doing incredible work, and we are glad to be a part of what they do. Our main focus as a music mission organization is to do outreach concerts, various workshops as well as training worship teams/music departments in local churches. We also like to just spend time with people in the community sharing God's love and the Gospel; and helping serve wherever is needed. There are also opportunities to serve at orphanages, retirement homes, in prisons, making and serving food to school children that do not have money to bring lunch to school, etc.

People from all over the world are welcome to apply.

Belize is a beautiful small country in Central America south of Mexico, right on the Caribbean Sea. The nature is gorgeous with jungle, stunning caribbean islands and beaches, etc. It is a very mixed culture, with influences from Europe, Africa and Latin America; which makes it very versatile in taste of music as well. English is the official language, and most people speak English.
For youth groups (or others;), there is a lot of fun activities you can add to your schedule, such as ziplining, cavetubing, visit Mayan ruins, visit caves, swim in some the most beautiful locations, and if you go to the caribbean sea, the water sport activities are endless.

Belize is open to missionaries, and the harvest is great!

Belize, as any Central American country, requires patience and flexibility in regards to schedule and logistics, and we encourage you to prepare well, but to be flexible to changes as well. Equipment and resources are limited, so plan to bring your own instruments as far as possible. Acoustic instruments are best for the smaller concerts or workshops etc, but the large venues will of course have sound systems available.
